"Pastor Joe" Penrose

It’s truly exciting to witness Gods work. His Spirit fills our hearts with love and caring for others. We have been working hard building the church physically and spiritually at the same time.

We moved from a small 5,000 square foot rental facility in Isanti to owning our own 33,000 square foot building in Ham Lake. This transformation is nothing short of a miracle. God’s hand is abounding.

The hurdles were huge, but not for God. I’ve always said and will say until I pass, this church of Jesus Christ will change many people’s lives forever. Just think, changing lives is what it’s all about.

I pray to our Heavenly Father daily for his provisions on this facility. Not just the physical needs, but we must also provide for the spiritual needs too. We do that through our Sunday services, Bible studies, and our prayer groups. I pray often that we find ways to assist in our community in any way possible.

We are on our way to creating a community café to feed the hungry with the premise that you can pay for a meal for those that can’t. Bottom line is this: you pay for what you can afford. This effort is being driven by my wife, Linda. This has been on our hearts as an outreach for a long time and we are confident that God will provide a way for this vision to become reality.

How strong is your faith? Let’s look at Matthew, 9:29 “Then he touched their eyes and said, because of your faith, it will happen.”

Our faith is strong and God provides, that’s just the way it is. We need to pray and thank our heavenly Father daily for those blessings.

As I’ve stated many times in my sermons, we are to love, lift, and encourage one another daily. Never lose sight of that. So now that you know the message is bright, get moving. And through it all, be patient, loving, caring, and kind throughout the year.

I will leave you with this:

“If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly”. Romans 12:8

Not my words, Gods word….
God Bless,
In His Service, Pastor Joe
